Hey there, I’m Sammy!

Born in Alberta but raised in Kelowna, BC (where it was basically a sauna half the year—thanks, Okanagan heat). Flashback to 10th grade: my parents asked what I wanted for my birthday/Christmas combo (because they’re right next to each other, duh). I told them, “A Canon camera would be so cool,” and boom, they delivered! That little camera sparked my love for photography, and the rest is history.

After surviving 13 scorching years in the Okanagan, I decided to head back to Alberta. Now, I specialize in photographing families—especially ones with kids and pets. Seriously, bring your animals. I’m all about that.

On a more personal note: I’m all about mountains, babies, dogs, amazing food, my husband Steve, my fam, my pals, and, of course, a wild game of UNO (I’m cutthroat). Horses are my spirit animal, green is my color, and I’m absolutely obsessed with any and all flowers. When I’m not soaking up the prairies of Alberta, you can find me exploring the mountains.
